Roseway Labs is a pharmacy dedicated to private clinics and their patients. We receive electronic prescriptions, compound medication to order and dispatch it through the postal system.

Due to strong growth, we are opening a new site on an industrial estate and require a fully-qualified pharmacist who is registered to work in the UK to perform responsible pharmacist activities. Responsibilities will include:

Reading and interpreting prescriptions and determining the appropriate ingredients, strengths, and dosage forms for each compounded medication
Conducting clinical and accuracy checks on prescriptions.
Checking the quality and purity of compounded products.
Supporting the day-to-day running of the pharmacy by ensuring that business needs are met.
Maintaining SOPs and support the Pharmacy Manager with business protocols.
Maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
Advising customers about the use and potential side effects of medication
Keeping up to date with advances in compounding techniques and regulations

Knowledge of compounding techniques and regulations and experience in a compounding pharmacy setting is desirable but not required as training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will be well-organised, detail-oriented and process-focused, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Operational activity takes place Monday to Friday on a full-time basis. No weekend working is required.

Salary range: £40,000pa - £45,000pa depending upon experience.
