We at Shivas Pharmacy Ltd are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic pharmacy assistant to work at our pharmacy.

Key points:

You will be the first contact to all customers

To serve customers in an appropriate and sensitive manner depending on their needs

To provide advice to the customer and refer to the pharmacist if needed

Main Responsibilities

To main the pharmacy in a clean and presentable way

To work on the till handling both cash and credit cards

To talk to customers in a polite manner

To respond to symptoms described by customers by following an agreed protocols and refer to the pharmacist when appropriate

To recommend appropriate products depending on the symptoms described by the customer

To check stock received into the pharmacy and to put it away

To maintain stock rotation

To answer telephone calls and to respond to the query accordingly

To receive prescriptions from customers and ensure its filled in correctly and subsequently handing it over to the dispensary for dispensing

To maintain patient confidentiality at all times

To send emails of repeat prescription requests from patients to various surgeries

To provide enhanced services like the needle exchange under the supervision of the pharmacist

Job Type: Full-time
