Sterling Pharmacy is expanding and looking for a Trainee Pharmacy Advisor to join our friendly team.

Learn a job whilst you get your qualifications, Healthcare assistant and NVQ2 dispensing assistant. Your tasks include dealing with prescriptions and customers and working both at the counter and in the dispensary. You will be supported by the pharmacist and trained dispensers.

No previous experience required.

You will be trained during the duration of your apprenticeship to carry out the following duties:

Sale of over the counter medicines • Ordering stock • Using the computer to write emails to GP surgeries, using the pharmacy dispensing system to label prescriptions • Processing payments • To maintain a clean and tidy working environment .

Preferred Candidate skills:

Good communication skills •Willing to learn.

The apprenticeship program takes 15 months to complete. When completing your apprenticeship you will receive a Level 2 NVQ, which will allow you to work as a fully qualified dispensing assistant, and act as a gateway to further career development, such as NVQ level 3.
