Urban Care Pharmacy, a specialized pharmacy that focuses on mental health care and addiction medicine, is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacist to join our growing team. We are located inside the Doc-Side medical clinic at East Hastings, which allows for easy collaboration with physicians and counselors on site. Our pharmacy is committed to providing quality patient-centered care and delivery services to patients in the Vancouver area for convenience and increased adherence.

Ideally, the candidate would also would be willing to work at our other pharmacy located in the heart of downtown Vancouver; Granville Pharmacy if needs be.

Responsibilities:

Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently to patients in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations
Providing expert advice and counselling to patients on the proper use of medications, including dosages, side effects, and drug interactions
Collaborating with physicians and counselors on site to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards
Monitoring and managing inventory levels and ordering supplies as necessary
Ensuring the pharmacy is kept clean and organized at all times
Providing exceptional customer service to all patients and ensuring that all inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally

Qualifications:

A valid Pharmacist license in the province of British Columbia
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients and colleagues
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently
Familiarity with Kroll pharmacy system would be an asset but not required
Flexibility to work weekends as needed
