This in role within the R&D Department and presents an opportunity to develop specialist skills in research contracts management. This post- holder will play a key role in the effective set-up of non-commercial contract activity within the Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust non-commercial R&D team.

The post-holder will be responsible for supporting non-commercial research contracts for the Trusts. In particular, the negotiation, management, and execution of agreements for drug trials, device studies, service level agreements, confidentiality agreements, collaborative and consortium agreements for both national and international studies.

The post-holder will be responsible for supporting non-commercial research contracts for the Trusts. In particular, the negotiation, management and execution of agreements for drug trials, device studies, material transfer agreements (MTAs) , data sharing agreements, model non-commercial agreements (MnCAs) service level agreements (SLA), confidentiality agreements (CDAs), collaborative and consortium agreements for both national and international studies.

You will be an experienced research administrator/trial coordinator/research facilitator with excellent communication skills and ideally with experience clinical research contracts in the NHS/HEI/pharma. You will have great attention to detail, excellent communication skills and enjoy liaising with colleagues and staff at all levels. You will be highly organised and methodical approach to your work, using database and systems to track your workload with exceptional document control skills.

Interested candidates should have an awareness of Health Research Authority's role and an interest in clinical research. Motivated candidates who have worked in either R&Ds or clinical research, along with those with legal background are encouraged to apply.

The R&D non-commercial team work flexibly but all are expected to work a minimum three days in the office (pro-rata for part-time staff) at Guy's hospital by London Bridge. The post may involve line-management in due course, and as such the post-holder may be required to work in the office more often to support the junior contract staff. Other flexible working options will be considered such as 30 hours a week/4 days per week and/or compressed hours over the week/month or term-time only hours or job shares.
