Procurement Manager - up to £68,000 p/a - Hybrid Working
Your new company
You will be working for an international pharmaceutical manufacturer headquartered in Japan, with operations based across the UK and Europe. A business heavily involved in R&D of life changing drugs to help people with life changing illnesses improve their quality of life.
Your new role
You will be working as a Procurement Manager, helping to develop the procurement frameworks and processes used throughout the organisation. This will be focusing on indirect spend across categories such as Marketing, HR and Professional Services. You will be responsible for developing the vendor selection, management and due diligence frameworks that are used by the business. You will also work with European partners to consolidate supplier lists to ensure best procurement practice is followed across the organisation. This role is a 2 year fixed terms contract.
What you'll need to succeed
You should have 5+ years procurement experience with a strong understanding of best procurement practices and compliance procedures. You should be a driven self-starter who is able to work independently, while also effectively engaging across a variety of departments such as compliance and finance. You would ideally have some experience working within a regulated environment such as Pharma or Finance. You should be a strong leader who can effectively deploy change in processes through an organisation.
What you'll get in return
You will get a competitive salary of up to £68,000 as well as a discretionary bonus of up to 18%. You will be entitled to 25 days annual holiday as well as private medical insurance for you and your family. You will get to work in a truly flexible style with no core hours and 80% home working over a month.
