YOUR ROLE
The Healthcare Team Leader is responsible for directing the daily activities for the Healthcare team including supervision, prime customer contact for all Healthcare activity and the proper processing of all warehouse healthcare operations & procedures. Key responsibilities includes supporting the Warehouse Shift Manager through leading the pharma team in completing warehouse operational work procedures to achieve the shared operational aim of consistently excellent service delivery. In the absence of the shift manager, the Warehouse Shift Team Leader will take direct ownership for managing, accountability & responsibility for the warehouse team.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that a thorough and comprehensive induction is carried out for all colleagues using the appropriate documentation.
- To ensure that both internal systems - HR.net and HCM is completed for all colleagues in a timely manner and reviewed/actioned regularly.
- To ensure HR policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Oversee the inbound and outbound Cargo Flows, Manpower, and Equipment & Inventory to ensure costs optimization and deliver consistently excellent service.
- Support the Shift Manager in being responsible and accountable for the day to day management of the operation.
- Highlight any operational issues, communicate regularly with all stakeholders and ensure all issues are managed according to SLA.
- To lead the team to ensure priority shipments are tracked, monitored and processed in line with the agreed SLA.
- Ensure the warehouse operates in full compliance to relevant ISO 9001 standards, K+N Quality Management System and any customer specific requirements. To create and maintain an environment for continuous improvement. Ensure all processes, space and workload are planned to achieve full efficiency / optimization.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Previous experience in the compliance requirements for healthcare/pharma storage, forwarding & distribution.
- Good knowledge of airfreight warehousing
- Knowledge of healthcare supply chain requirements
- Knowledge of government regulations in regards Pharma Storage
- Good knowledge of GDP/GMP/ GXP
- Understanding of QSHE processes, requirements and formats
- Good presentation skills - used to speak in front of an audience (predominantly internal)
- Training experience
