Preparation and dispensing component of the medication use system
Picks, counts, packs and labels medications as indicated in the prescriptions under supervision

of pharmacist/pharmacy technician supervisor

Charges medication costs accurately to patients’ account
Pharmacy operations and services
Conducts regular checks of drug stocks and highlights near expiry items to the pharmacy

technician supervisor

Requirements

Minimum O levels and above
Able to count (numeracy) – Pick and pack
Stand and work at certain lengths
OJT for freshies
Able to have adequate literacy to read prescriptions
Detailed and able to work with little supervision
Part time (3-4 days per week, min 6 hrs – depends on SGH) and Full time ( 44 hours per week)
