East Cheshire NHS Trust and Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are jointly creating a new electronic patient record (EPR), which is known locally as the Digital Clinical System (DCS). The DCS will replace current paper-based records with one comprehensive source of digital information that is available at multiple locations.
By giving our staff access to the right information, in the right place, at the right time, we will play a crucial role in supporting efficient and effective care, maintaining safety, improving patients' experiences, and meeting increasing demands.
We will also be able to share patient records more effectively with our health and care partner organisations, which leads to more informed, coordinated services.
The DCS is one of the largest projects ever undertaken by either of our organisations and it forms an integral part of a clinical transformation programme that will be enabled by digital technology.
We are seeking to appoint a motivated and dynamic pharmacy technician to join our pharmacy team. Working alongside the Lead DCS Pharmacist and other project team members you will deliver the Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) element of the DCS programme. The role will develop, implement, evaluate, monitor and support continuous improvements to the EPMA system.
