Salary - From £44,000 to £47,000 depending on experience and qualifications plus up to 10% discretionary bonus
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic pharmacists who are able to thrive in a busy environment. They must have a "can do and will do" attitude and be able to overcome challenges in the day to day operations of the pharmacy, setting and maintaining the high standards expected by the GPhC, the company and patients.
It is essential that the candidates demonstrate good team and communication skills and work with the Superintendent Pharmacist to ensure high standards are maintained. The post holders should also be able to work innovatively and be pro-active in developing the pharmacy in an ever changing NHS.
The pharmacy operates various opening times on different sites that range between 9am to 7.30pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
This is a unique opportunity to work in an outpatient pharmacy service in one of the leading NHS Foundation Trusts in the UK.
Main Duties of the job
- To ensure the safe, efficient and effective delivery of all aspects of the Outpatient Pharmacy Service to patients and users by maintaining high standard of professionalism and safety in accordance with national and local standards (GPhC and DoH).
- To provide day to day leadership and act as a role model for all staff within CW Medicines Ltd
- To contribute to the efficient management and administration of the business
- To work collaboratively and co-operatively with the Superintendent Pharmacist and other Pharmacists in order to avoid or minimise the use of locum pharmacists
Qualifications
Registration as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council
