We are looking for a highly motivated, digitally experienced pharmacist to join the Digital Pharmacy Team to work with the EPMA Project Manager to deliver the implementation of an upgraded and consolidated EPMA system to be used Trust wide for in-patients services. You will be responsible for implementing and supporting the Medicines Management Digital Pharmacy Strategy within Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust. You will be supported by a Medicines Management Strategic Management Team and will work closely alongside the CIO, CCIO and the CNIO.

The purpose of this role will be the development, implementation, maintenance and optimisation of the medicines management IT systems including Electronic Prescribing & Medicines Administration (EPMA) and Pharmacy Stock Control (PSC) system. You will be supported by a team of pharmacy technicians and data analysts. This role will include updating configuration as required, and reviewing, testing and implementing new functionality and upgrades as they are developed. The post holder supports the delivery of the digital strategy to Pharmacy staff, Doctors, Nursing staff, Non-Medical Prescribers and other healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for training and supporting staff, and for developing relevant procedures.
