NHS Forth Valley has an exciting opportunity for an experienced pharmacist with a background in hospital, primary care or community pharmacy to join them as a Specialist Pharmacist in Vaccines and Public Health. The post holder will be part of the immunisation team and previous experience in delivering a vaccination service or involvement with vaccinations would be advantageous to this role.
The successful applicant will work closely with the immunisations team to ensure delivery of the National Immunisation Programmes within locations throughout NHS Forth Valley. They will work with the Lead Pharmacist for Community Pharmacy, Public Health and Integrated Services to support the delivery of Pharmaceutical Public Health and will manage the Patient Group Direction process.
You should be an organised person who can work to deadlines and enjoys interaction with other healthcare professionals. The post holder should also have a sound clinical knowledge, good IT skills and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will have a Masters degree in Pharmacy or equivalent and be on the practising register of the General Pharmaceutical Council.
