Could you play a key role in influencing and shaping the regulation of Health and Social Care Services in Jersey?
The Jersey Care Commission is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Pharmacist to join its busy and growing team. This is a new role which is offered on a part time basis.
The role of the Pharmacist Inspector is to support the team of Regulation Officers in undertaking inspections of regulated activities (such as care homes and home care services), by having a focus on how services manage the storage, administration, and disposal of medications. There is a need to ensure that both legal requirements and the Commission’s Standards are fully adhered to and to write reports associated with this area of activity.
The successful applicant will have a detailed understanding of the regulatory process and context, being able to evaluate and analyse information and to reach conclusions based upon clear evidence. The successful applicant will have the knowledge and confidence necessary to respond positively to challenge and disagreement and be able to defend decision-making.
