We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at the RLHIM.

This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist with experience in retail pharmacy and an interest in complementary care within pharmacy to take on the role of a Band 7 pharmacist at the RLHIM Pharmacy.

We are looking for a proactive and dynamic individual with the requisite knowledge, experience, and expertise to manage service provision and professional aspects of the RLHIM pharmacy services.

You will be responsible for the safe and effective running of the day-to-day service in line with GPhC standards for registered pharmacies and managing the dispensary.

You will be involved in improving and the development of the hospital outpatients and retail RLHIM pharmacy services, working closely with the RLHIM Pharmacy team, RLHIM clinicians and other members of staff.

You will represent the RLHIM Pharmacy department within the UCLH Pharmacy team support and improve services at the RLHIM

To support the role as a pharmacist working in complementary care, training will be provided. This will consist of learning on the job, and to undertake a course.

Working closely with the other hospitals at UCLH, we provide the following clinical services:

Acupuncture (for Chronic Pain, Migraine and Tension-Type Headache), Adult Allergy, Children’s service, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia, Integrated General medicine, Insomnia and Behavioural Sleep Medicine, Integrated Cancer Care, Integrated Dermatology, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Musculoskeletal and Manual Medicine, Nutrition and Dietetics, Podiatry, Psychological Therapies (Autogenic Training, Hypnosis for Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness), Integrated Rheumatology, Integrated Women’s service.

The pharmacy team is well integrated into clinical practice and work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy support for patients seen in the outpatient clinics.

The RLHIM pharmacy is a hospital outpatient pharmacy providing holistic care for patients seen at the RLHIM and is also a retail pharmacy registered with the GPhC for members of the public.
