Main duties of the job

We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic and forward thinking pharmacists to join our Outpatient Pharmacy team. You will need to be organised and well-motivated and have excellent communication and people skills, as well as the ability to adapt quickly to new situations. Registered with the GPhC with no adverse Fitness to Practice record
Masters degree or equivalent in pharmacy

Experience

Essential criteria

Completion of preregistration training year

Desirable criteria

Experience of leading a pharmacy or a team
Experience of using JAC pharmacy computer system
Experience of acting as Responsible Pharmacist in a Dispensary
Experience of using prescription tracking systems
Experience of working in an automated dispensary environment
Experience of working in a hospital pharmacy
Accredited for locally commissioned enhanced services, e.g. EHC, Minor Ailments, health checks and running extended services

Skills and aptitudes

Essential criteria

Excellent customer service skills
Strong communication skills – must be able to recognize and overcome barriers to understanding e.g. language, deaf, learning difficulties
Strong ability to multi -task, prioritise plan and organize
Demonstratble commitment to CPD and a member of the GPhC
Fluent written and spoken English including good numeracy
Clean DBS or able to pass one when required
