Working in partnership with the NHS, voluntary, educational and research organisations to deliver a range of specialist inpatient and community mental healthcare services, education and research that helps to improve the lives of people with complex mental health needs.
Your role with us
As a Clinical Pharmacist at Birmingham you will undertake clinical duties for patients at the site. Working closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team you will support the optimal use of medicines to ensure our patients obtain the best possible outcomes from medication.
This role also involves working closely with the Birmingham Pharmacy Technician and supporting the Northampton Dispensary Operational Team with the supply of medication. Also taking part in the Pharmacy out of hours on call rota.
We are committed to the development of staff and have a clear pathway for development which has been shown with the progress of our clinical pharmacists and technicians to senior roles. Academically there will be opportunities to undertake the certificate in psychiatric therapeutics (Aston) and/or an independent prescribing qualification if you do not already have these.
