The shift pattern for this position is 37.5 hours per week, worked over 5/7 days. Normal hours are M-F 0845-1700 (45 min lunch 1300-1345) – Rotating to RHC and Beatson when required. Participating on weekends and Public Holidays.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Support Worker to join Preparative Services GG&C. Based at the New Victoria Hospital ( NVH) you will provide support to the existing team.

The main duties of the post will consist of contributing to the day to day running of the Pharmacy department and to undertake routine technical activities within the dispensary, aseptic unit and clinical trials. You will also contribute to the environmental and stock management programme.

You should have a good general education, basic numeracy and literacy skills demonstrated by three Standard Grade qualifications or equivalent including English and Maths. SVQ/NQ level 2 or equivalent experience and basic IT skills are essential.

This is a full time post 37.5hrs and will be worked 5/7 and includes rotating to Royal Hospital for Children and Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre and weekend working and participation in public holiday rosters
