This role offers a great opportunity to develop your teaching and facilitating skills, working with medical students, trainee pharmacists and undergraduate pharmacy students. Full training and support will be given to the successful applicant: we look forward to harnessing your enthusiasm to develop our students and staff.
You will retain a weekly clinical commitment as well as participating in our B7 late rota, so your clinical and leadership skills will also be developed in this role.
Our B7 development programme will support you in completing further training in management, independent prescribing and teaching skills, depending on your learning needs, so you continue your own development while working with us.
We are a friendly education and training team working within a supportive pharmacy team. We enjoy working together to develop students and trainees and get a buzz from seeing them move successfully into the next stage of their career. Our excellent pastoral support helps the department to run smoothly, understanding the challenges that learners can encounter.
The pharmacy department is an integral part of the multi-professional workforce here at UHDB and our clinical input and teaching is very much appreciated and valued.
