Due to successful, continued growth the pharmacy team are pleased to be advertising a pharmacy support worker role. This post will continue to support the inpatient and community teams for mental health services across Lincolnshire.

You will become a fully integrated member of the pharmacy team, that is highly regarded, actively supporting clinical staff and patients across the trust. You will establish collaborative working relationships to deliver high-quality medicines service focused on ensuring patients get the best from their medicines, healthcare professionals are adequately informed, skilled to manage the use of medicines correctly, safely, cost effectively, and that communication between healthcare settings are seamless.
This post will provide an opportunity for the right candidate to develop their knowledge, clinical and service development skills in cross-boundary working with multiple agencies that are involved in patientcare.

- To support the delivery of the medicine management and optimization agenda across the trust, including relevant pharmacy metrics
- To support the delivery of an efficient and effective medication supply/returns service to inpatient & community sites across the Trust.
- To support the rationalisation of medication costs through the establishing, implementing and monitoring of medication returns and drug waste processes.
- To be responsible for delegated elements of projects specific to the Mental Health Pharmacy Services throughout the Trust.
- To support the clozapine clinics with physical health care checks and venepuncture, if appropriately trained.
