Your new role
As a remote working Technical Specialist, you will be providing technical leadership and expertise to the organisation's External Manufacturing Organisation (EMO). You will manage the technical aspects of end-to-end manufacturing activities, building and maintaining strong technical relationships with Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) globally. The role involves leading technical investigations, technology transfers, and handling data management for both commercial and clinical phase assets. You will offer support to the Quality, Regulatory CMC functions within the EMO. Your technical skills will be crucial in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of manufacturing and analytical challenges.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will need a degree in natural sciences or a related field, accompanied by extensive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, testing, and technology transfer. Your skill set should encompass areas such as Small Molecule API, Oral Solid Dose, Biological Drug Substance, or Aseptic Filling. Experience working with CMOs and/or Contract Laboratories is preferred. Your proficiency in English will be critical, and understanding French and/or German could be beneficial. Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or analytical testing, external manufacturing or testing, and a solid understanding of pharmaceutical quality regulations (cGMP) will be key to your success.
